Bye bye birdies. :pimp:

If we go 11-1/10-2 and finish 2nd in the ACC Atlantic the Orange Bowl is a nice prize...FTR...As long as any B1G, SEC, ACC and Pac 12 Champion has one loss they will have the advantage over any non conference winner or a 1 loss Big XII School...now we are Pitt and FSU fans...last best hope for 2 losses by Clemson.

Two legit possibilities.

Don't see Clemson going undefeated...Don't see them losing 2 either though.

I really don't see it either...and after watching NC State they match up very well with us...they are extremely physical on both sides of the ball...if we win by one-(especially after looking at what happened today across the country) when we play them next week...at this point not Into style points.

Did I just hear that Clemson turned the ball over 5 times against U of L?

I'm not buying that a 1 loss Washington is getting in for sure. I don't think the Pac 12 is very good this year and I think if Washington loses you could see a 1 loss Michigan or 1 loss UL getting in (Let's assume OSU and Clemson win their conferences and get in for argument's sake).

Washington's only hope of getting in is to go undefeated. Their strength of schedule is terrible. Seeing how Wisconsin is doing against OSU, it's pretty apparent that the team that should move up regardless of outcome is Michigan. They keep getting leap frogged in the polls, but their defense is possibly the best in the country. If the ACC, Big 12 or Pac 12 doesn't have an undefeated champion it is very easy to see two Big 10 schools making it in this season.

I thought the committee was pretty explicit about favoring conference champions. I wouldnt be surprised if Bama is the only team without a loss when selection time comes.

The issue is if Washington 12-1 PAC 12 Champiom that extra win over a 11-1 ACC or B1G Non Conference winner...saw it last year with both Oklahoma-(with their 1 Loss Championship) get in...also in 2014 when Ohio State with their 12-1 beat out 11-1 Baylor/TCU

Yup....8 Total Turnovers by both teams...5 for Clemson and 3 for Louisville...today they had 4 turnovers but NC State missed 3 FGs....That the beauty of College Football

Yeah, NC State is pretty solid. That was a game I thought UL could lose.

But they aren't sneaking up on anybody anymore...think UL will be focused and roll.

UL is not getting in. They have not beaten anyone but a FSU team that is not as good as they normally are. Now that Houston has lost, the UL schedule is below average the rest of the season. Hell they were lucky to beat a crappy Duke team at home.

Playing Clemson tough at Clemson is not enough, IMO. I agree, UL's schedule is not tough enough to justify getting them in over a number of other potentially one loss teams.

If the Cards win out, they are in the FF....you all better accept it.

Don't overlook baylor. they're scoring in bunches-40+avg-while not yet giving up a point in the 4th qtr.
They still have tex and okl away, but if they should win out i'd say they would get the nod over tards.
Still a lot of fball left to be played.

A 11 win Baylor is not getting over a 11 win Michigan/Ohio State or Louisville-(again no Conference Championship Game in the Big XII)...the issues with their Football Program and the fact their OOC schedule is absolutely horrid says otherwise...plus I don't really see anyone beating Oklahoma in the Big XII the rest of the way
