I will admit that one time UK hosted game day in 2007 they created an impressive atmosphere. They had a pep band, cheerleaders, a rowdy crowd. That one week was the brightest spot in UK football going back to the late 1970s. That one week, and one week only, UK had all the look and feel of a top 10 program.

There were two signs that by themselves weren't anything special but being side by side was kind of funny. One read "Dalvin Cook hates puppies" and right next to it was one that read "Lamar Jackson the next Vick?" I know that wasn't intentional but I found it slightly amusing.

Yeah let's make fun of Louisville as if we aren't a laughing stock in college football. Two unranked teams have run over 90 plays a pop on us. It's a great day to be a UK football fan, once again. College game day at our rival that if they win, they have a legitimate reason to start discussing the playoffs. A heisman candidate QB, but by all means please keep making fun of them.

I hate Louisville with the fire of 1,000 burning suns. But my frustration with our team just won't let me hate on a program that is in such better condition than ours.

It really is quiet though. I dont think its "hating on Louisville" as much as it is just stating facts. One of the more lame College Gamedays I have seen. In their defense the game starts in less than an hour so alot of people chose to tailgate or already be in the stadium. They dont have the luxury the night games do of going to Gameday and still able to tailgate after.

UK and the fans lit that event up. I knew it would be good but I was surprised at how many people showed up. The actual Gameday event is boring but the atmosphere was tremendous.

Yes. At the time it broke the record for loudest gameday. Anytime talking heads start saying we don't have the fan base to build a program as they alluded to last week or that Ky fans don't care about football; this picture is all the response needed.

How true. Just compare the two programs today. UL is playing in perhaps the best game of the day and we are playing a weak program and are discussing how to replace our AD and HC because we are competing for the worst program in the country.

It just goes to show that paying bad coaches a lot of money doesn't make them good coaches. Mitch should get that as a tattoo on his left hand so he sees it when he signs a contract.
