I come in peace.
Need a distraction from the short work week as I am still excited for our Friday night game.

Thoughts on the game?

If anyone is traveling and has any questions feel free to ask.

Last year you came in peace, but predicted a UCF blowout and provided us a suicide hotline number. But you never came back to the board after the UofL win. What will this year bring from you?
Lol i was going to call myself out on that if this thread had gained any traction. Also hopefully some of you have that number saved still… jk jk

I don’t think you’ve eaten enough crow from last year. You were pretty obnoxious before that game but then completely turtled up after the loss. That’s the worst kind of trash talker. Now you think you can just slide back in here. SAD!

Did I actually talk trash? I told you what I thought would happen and was wrong. Your qb tore us up and we lost about 5 starters to injury throughout the game. The suicide hotline wasn’t for the results of the game it was for all of the sky is falling talk on your forum before I even showed up (similar to what appears to be happening right now). I went back and looked at what I said which consisted of “I don’t think your qb is very accurate and I think your athletic department owes you guys more than you are receiving”. Is that a hot take?

This thread is great and all, and the references to last year are A+. Be mindful the Cards suck and our coach needs to be shown the door. I’d say the odds are 30/70 in UCF’s favor.

I don't see us doing any better against UCF's passing game than we did last year. To borrow from Oral Roberts U, Expect A Miracle.

At this point all we can really ask for is a prepared team, a aggressive approach and some effort by the coaches to have the other team not know what we're doing.

If we do this and lose something like 31 to 28, I think we could still salvage the season. Several years ago we started 0 and 3 but rebounded to have a winning season.

But if we again are predictable and out of position and lose big, I shudder to think how the rest of the season will go. Even the debacle during Petrino's last season most thought he wouldn't be fired until after the season, but it got so bad UofL could no longer wait.

I don't think that will happen with this team but I just can't see Satterfield surviving another losing season.

Hey everyone. Looking forward to the game Friday. I actually lived in Louisville for a couple years as a kid so I’ve followed the program a bit.

Most of the fan bases in our conference suck so we don’t get much interaction with other fans. Let me know if you have any questions about the team or attending the game/tailgating.

Sounds like I am in the minority, but I am expecting a good game on Friday. I get it, we looked like pure **** last week. I'll tell you a few things, I will watch the entire game and will be at the FSU game next week cheering for the Cards no matter what happens. Cards win 30-27.

It would be popular to join this chorus of criticism about this Satterfield Louisville football team, as I was as surprised and disappointed as any UL fan with last week’s performance.

In truth …… this UL roster has a lot of talent on the offensive side of the football that was concealed by our HC who was calling all of the plays. Malik was no where close to what he has demonstrated previously, and I will not even attempt to explain what was going on in his mind, but his decision to stay inside the pocket, as opposed to moving outside the pocket contributed significantly to his inability to see the field and give his receivers time to separate from coverage. The first interception was not a bad throw, but the second one and the two fumbles were directly related to his sitting inside the pocket where Syracuse was focusing all of their pressure.

No prediction from me, but if I was a UCF fan, I would not want to be the opponent that has to play a UL team that will be as motivated to execute as any team in America. These kids, Satterfield and his staff brought shame to themselves individually and collectively …….. I suspect they see this as the most critical opportunity to salvage their season and their potential careers.

Hope you are right 233 but I fear the opposite after what I saw Saturday night. Generally I am an optimist but I find it difficult to have that attitude at this point. But I'll continue trying.

GO CARDS!!!

Man....I did not expect to be here. In year, 6? 7? of being in the ACC having to read smack talk from UCF fans. SMH...

We lobbied for years to get in the Power 5 to get away from these level of programs and earn a seat at the big boy table and yet here we are - in year 4 of the Shitterfield era reading smack from a program like UCF in a game we're probably going to lose no less!

Re-watching last year’s game (currently on ACC network). UCF looked bigger and faster than us last year. They have awesome talent. I think we’re gonna be out sized and out played. Out coached goes without saying.

We ended up playing that game without like 9 starters against you all. Hope we come out of the game healthy this year. That game killed our season.

There have been some weird invasions over the years from the UCF folk around these parts. Some of these dudes are pretty out there so it's hard to say if we've heard the last from them. They do take a couple L's in a row for the road, and I don't think they are on our schedule in the future. So adios to the UCF dudes that for sure would have blown this thread up if they won but we are unable to find with a search warrant now. We will always love you kids.
