Louisville/UNC Game Thread

Louisville leads 37-32 at the half. Rozier and Blackshear both with double-digit first halves. Joel Berry gave UNC some big production in the first 20 minutes with a couple big threes.

In my official ACCT bracket I picked the Heels to win this one, but I'd happily give up the point if it meant they go home early.

I've ripped on Joel Berry before and I'll be happily doing it again in the future, but all in all, I think he actually will have a nice career at UNC.

Berry will be very good for them. He's the real deal. But like a lot of freshman he's just not where he needs to be yet to be a consistent threat. You can see him making steady improvements though.

I'd rather have Tyus....but we might only have him one year and they'll likely get four out of Berry.

Inside Greensboro Coliseum the unofficial first half tally was 617. I have a friend keeping track for me.

But you have to remember he can only hear in his section. So that number is likely much higher.

Louisville is not hitting shots to start the second half. They're going to need the refs to bail them out or the Cards are going home early. Cards lead 50-48.

Rozier is a nice player....but he's a high volume shooter. If he doesn't start knocking down some of these looks UNC will win by 10.

First off this is a great game all around, again. Seems like all
have been so far in this tourney.



Secondly
to the poster above's question about how many times they've complained about
the refs so far....had nothing to do so just got done counting- as of the under
10min mark they've complained/brought up the refs 15 times, albeit the majority
of them are coming from some Seahawk dude. The best is below








Complete bull crap. UNC gets called for a foul everytime they reach in,
but Lville nothing.

Lville again in the bonus, doubt UNC will see it. Swofford needs to go.

Why exactly does Brice Johnson flex and scream EVERY time he dunks lol he looks ridiculous. Heels are on a mission tho and up up and away I'm calling it now they win the ACC tourney.. But if they do lose tomm it's because Roy likes that extra rest to get em ready to win the big dance!

Billy L don't get out much. He said Roy made the difference by going zone in the second half. I guess he didn't notice Coach K played zone for 40 min.against the Cards.

Yeah, they looked pretty good. They're shooting the ball decent right now --- 5-11 from three and 15-17 at the FT line --- that's off making 60% behind the arc against us and being a perfect 13-13 on free throws.

The most important part of the three-point shooting stat is they're not shooting it more than they should. They don't have the shooters to rely on it consistently, but they do have capable shooters to make it a part of their game.

This is by far their best win in over a month....and it's probably up there as one of their best wins of the season.

When we went zone against them everyone on THR said coach k was a wimp and we weren't very good since we had to use a zone.... Carolina goes zone and they are awesome and Roy is a hero/genius
