I disagree about the time being "bad for most fans". Yes, some with young children will have a problem but anyone beyond the age of 55 (in most cases) should be free at game time. And that doesn't include those under the age of 30 without children. I love noon games but I'd rather have 3:30 game times. Night games suck unless, of course, they are on Thursday night.

Night games suck? I've never heard anyone else ever say that.

I used to tailgate but then I realized that I didn't like going to games with a buzz. There are advantages to tailgating such as cheap food and drink plus being with friends. But I can be with friends anytime. And, by the way, the reason for tailgating (party) IS the football game. I have failed to ever see a huge party in the green lot on a non game day. It is my intention to be in my seat prior to the national anthem and I think UofL fans are finally getting that, especially at the FSU game.

Yeah, "most fans" was a bad choice of words.

I should have said "A lot of fans don't like Noon games"

All I've read on here for years is how it screws up "many" people because of youth activities, and many, many, MANY ***** about the lack of tailgate time, which goes along with the thought that it's at least as much about the party as the game.

Personally, I like them so I can do other things later.

Regardless what we like, or don't like, I'll bet we are the Noon game for the remainder.

Just heard Coffey say on 790 that the Wake game time is 7 PM in a couple weeks. He didn't say the channel, but it sounds like a national prime time slot. Granted Lamar is must-see TV, but it must be a light schedule that day as far as marquee matchups...

Eric Crawford is saying that it'll be on ESPN 2.
