We lose the first set 25-19 and we were way out of sync. I hope we get settled in and play our game. I don’t know if the Texas game took something out of us or not we just don’t look very sharp.
We win the 2nd set 31-29 in a hard fought set. I hope that gets us back in form because even though we won that set we still made a lot of mistakes.
We win the 3rd set 25-23 in this set we played a lot better. The difference this set was we played better defense and we laid our bodies out to keep the ball alive. Peterson and Cresse both are the hammers on this team and Bkacshear not far behind. Chicone hits hard and has great placement on the ball.
We win the match by winning the 4th set 25-19. This is the first loss for Creighton on their home court in 2 after they had a 32 game win streak. In those 2 years Creighton has won 93 sets on this court and only lost 6 sets. Three of those lost sets were tonight against Louisville. We started this match looking like we had a hang over from the loss toTexas.
Thankfully we settled in and got better each set. The sets got better and the defense got a lot better. Peterson and Cressee had 19 and 14 kills respectively. Chiccone had a good offensive game but she really laid it out on defense keeping the ball alive giving us more opportunities to score.

Tomorrow we play the University of Northern Iowa. Payton Petersons Mom is the coach and her twin sister is on the team. Tonight at the game Payton’s grandparents had shirts on and half of the shirt was blue with the letters UNI on it and the other half was red with Cards on it. It red UNI Cards.
