I thought I started a thread I don’t know what happened to it. However we started the first looking absolutely awful get down by 7 then stormed back for an 11-4 run. We ended up winning the first set 25-23.

We win the 2nd set after being behind 21-16. We get to the point where I don’t think we are going to win this set. Then we settle in and get things going and score in bunches. Exciting but stressful I wish we would just go ahead and play the whole set without getting behind.
A&M wins the 3rd set 25-23 knock on wood but I hope this doesn’t turn into a reverse sweep. That has happened to us several times this year.
Playing so far in the 4th set nothing is coming from the middle. All our scoring is coming from the left and right side. A&M has figured it out and focusing on blocking both sides. We do this all the time I don’t why we never score out of the middle.
Louisville has a really young team where A&M has 9 seniors. Right now they are wearing us out 17-8 once again nothing coming out of the middle. We are hitting negative 150.
You would think we would make an adjustment and go more to the middle everything coming from the left or right is now getting blocked. If we don’t make adjustments I think we will get reversed sweep again.
A&M wins the 4th set they’re going for a reverse sweep on the final set and I don’t feel good about it. We play to 15 and we have started every set behind. Since there has been no adjustments A&M will continue doing what they are doing not good.
The announcer said the last time we lost in a reverse sweep was 2022. We have lost a couple of reverse sweeps this year.
I have been watching Louisville volleyball for 5 years now and it seems we never win a long volley.
We lose on a reverse sweep by A&M. Left side, right side, left side, right side, left side right side nothing out of the middle no adjustments made. Nothing out of the middle once you get to the third set the opponent figures out your offense and their defense shuts you down.
I might eat my words but I think Nebraska wins it all. They have 6 All-Americans we have one honorable mention All-AmerIvan.
