We stayed in man to man defense the entire first half. I’m surprised we didn’t see some switching zone.
It’s just weird that against these type of lesser teams, Jordan is hot and carry the scoring load while most everyone else stands around.
And when Jordan struggles everyone else steps up and picks up the slack against better teams.

The Cardinals actually played elite level basketball for almost 8 minutes in the second half, then settled in and settled. I love knowing this team can play at that elite level when they want, but worry that it's becoming a theme. The lack of a killer instinct really concerns me a lot. This team is talented enough to win it all, but they have to play 40 minutes like they played for almost 8 minutes in the second half tonight.

Cue card..... that's exactly what i said to my friend at the game...8 minutes of intense effort total. That has become the norm unfortunately. Maybe will be better vs what they perceive as better competition. I hope so cause this team can be special..... but other than the Duke game it had had great difficulty with consistent focus and intensity.

Id love see wire to wire effort or playing on full throttle, however this team still doesnt have a killer instinct, save Dwayne Sutton.
Lock them in the gym with Rodney or Ellis. That should get them to shape up real quick.
