Vj after his one shot attempt was bad . passed on a wide open 8 ft baseline look

Perry took the right shot on the break from the FT line just didn't fall

Not bad shots. Just didn’t fall. Both are playing hard and within themselves. Pull for these two. The team needs them to do well.

Perry’s shot was fine - that 15’ fade away drifting to his left from VJ was doody.

Even if he made it.

I am rooting for King and Perry and they are playing better. I hope they can hold their ground and not cost us in close games. Mistakes don't show when we are up by 25.

I don't know what you guys want from VJ. He's been beat out of a position that should be his. Has he quit?

Good energy level early then the guys just settled in and took care of business.

Carolina will bring it Saturday. The Cards will have to match that energy, and the home crowd will be important too.

Go CARDS!!!

I don't think he has quit... he just looks really uncomfortable and unsure out there. Specifically on offense. It was nice to see him finish one on the break.

Good game, but our reserves need to step tf up, aside from Enoch, who’s not really even a reserve, just splits with Malik. Nwora, Sutton, CC, Fore, and Mcmahon( occasionally )give us such a lift offensively. Defensively Nwora has picked up a lot of steam, and Williams and Enoch have been doing decent, still need to work on consistent blocking out. Sutton generally always plays at a high level, and I’m liking what I’m seeing out of Fore. VJ still plays very tense and awkward, but has at least been playing decent defense, and rebounding. Overall, we look better every game we play. Go Cards, on to the Tar Heels! I’ll be at the game, super excited!

Want him to relax and play with confidence.
He does neither.
He could be the difference between a SS, E8 or F4 team.

He's not forcing anything, yet he plays like a nervous meerkat when he has the ball in his hands.

Just relax young fella-

Coaches are never satisfied, and they shouldn't be until they cut the nets down.

Even if the Cards had won by 30 Coach Mack would have disliked something.

I like that. Sign of a top notch Coach.
100000000% agree. We all understand this game we love is made up of nothing but mistakes. The team that makes fewer (and I'm not just talking about turnovers) will win the game. Teams that execute offensive and defensive plays while striving for perfection are the elite teams.

Coach Mack is doing his part to make this team as good as they can be. Vince hit a 600 foot home run by hiring Chris Mack as head basketball coach. I have complete faith in his ability to do the job.

What Mack is upset about is if you’re up by 35 and the lead goes to 20 and you’re still playing your main guys, that’s a negative 15 deficit. It can happen against Wake but not many other teams.

Go Cards!

Man they looked great last night. The only missing piece to this team is an intimidating enforcer like Trez or Gorgui down low. I love this team, so fun to watch and I think we can all agree that Coach Mack deserves ACC Coach of the Year and it's not even close. He scrambled and ducktaped together a team that is not only competitive (all we hoped for going in, realistically) but is a Top 25 team that can beat anyone on a given night.

All this, after losing 96% (I think) of the offense from an NIT team.
