Dude why don't you shut the **** up? There's no way a classless piece of crap like you is a UK fan. Go root Cal's horn
Little fella why don’t YOU shut the **** up ?It makes me a little nervous when you tell me to ‘root’ Cal’s horn. You seem to think about roots a lot. No wonder you hang on Pope’s root so much. You’re an annoying fool … and a classless one to boot. Keep working on your post count and your likes.

How may times does it need to be said that Pope can't do the job here and that its not personal even though so many people get hurt feelings over it. This is not enjoyable or does it show promise, why prolong it
The guys that continue to bring their own emotion into it are the ones that continue to get upset at holding players accountable or when a fanbase comes down on professional athletes. The guys that keep on with the coaching stuff, “you just hate Cal” crowd from years ago. It’s the same stuff

It’s not personal, it’s business. Kentucky is a blue
Blood that is not doing blue blood things. That cannot and will not be tolerated and shouldn’t be. Lowe isn’t a good PG, Mark is a bad recruiter, Mark has been a guy who’s not adding up. Mark isn’t Kentucky caliber. These are not emotional statements they are facts. It has nothing to do with whether I like him or how many times he says he loves Kentucky and its fans. Liking Mark has no relevance here. How much he talks about the front of the jersey doesn’t have relevance here. Yes we need to always do that but you win on the court, support the players who deserve it in their pursuits, and create a family based off of that and continue tradition. Basically the things Calipari did in his first 7 years. That’s what you do. The emotional stuff is irrelevant.

I don't claim to know much, but it seemed obvious to everyone around the program that 3-4 assistants were leaving after this disastrous year, and it never seemed like there was going to be any resistance from Pope to retain them. Maybe a good thing if he "wanted" them gone? We shall see.
I expect Fox to leave as well. I have said it before but I believe Pope to be a very difficult person to be around if you’re not going the same way as him. That is a main attribute screwing up negotiations and why he won’t get a GM.

They want everyone gone. But they also want to build quality depth. And they want to trash the players and somehow convince other players to ignore that and come perform for them.
It doesn't matter what players we get, if they don't play at an all american level, these "fans" want them to transfer and they want the coach fired.

Starting over with a fully new roster is not how you go about winning titles, I thought we already knew that.

I know he wasn't fully healthy but his decision making at the end of what I think was the Missouri game told me all I needed to know that he wasn't the answer for us. Just made horrible decisions at the end of that game. Also showed he wasn't the shooter that we need at that spot either.
The guy with poor decision making at the end of the Missouri game wasn't Lowe, it was Aberdeen.

I thought he wanted to stay so wonder if this is a pope decision, but it really makes you question what is going on in Lex??? All the coaches leaving and now here’s the first domino player wise.
Yeah, it looks to me like Pope is doing exactly what the hot heads in our fanbase want. He's cleaning house and getting rid of everyone that didn't perform like pros.

He was told to go.... Pope planned on him healthy and 2 year contract supposedly. After this season and his injuries, Pope knows he has to get a better PG for next year.
I doubt Lowe was ask to go. When ou don't have ANY point guards, I can't think even Pope not having enough sense to not keep a point guard. We actually have no idea how good or how bad Lowe will be next year. He may show up and play lights out next year. I do wish the kid the best.

Lowe is leaving, does that not make you question Pope?
Wait, why would we question Pope? Isn’t this what y'all wanted?

Looks to me like Pope is growing a sack. He's getting rid of assistant coaches and players that don't fit.

Lowe literally said he was going to be back, now he's just entered his name in the portal, what does that tell you?

It tells me he has no idea what he's doing. It tells me he's coaching for his job

Lowe leaving must mean a portal stud PG is headed to Lex. Tanner?
We have zero chance of Tanner even taking a call from us or anyother team. He is a hometown kid playing for his lifetime favorite school. Only a high evaluation from the NBA would or could created him leaving. Why do you actually mention Tanner coming to Lexington? Would you trade Byington for Pope as your coach if you were Tanner? I didn't think so.

Well I’ll give Pope credit for cleaning house. Actions speak louder than words and him blowing everything up and starting fresh clearly signals he wasn’t happy with how things went either.

Cal would have rode with Lowe another year. As evidenced by Savhir Wheeler. Still can’t believe the greatest recruiter the sport has ever seen more or less wager’d 2 seasons on Savhir Wheeler as his starting point guard. John Vincent Calipari smh…

Our two biggest portal purchases …Lowe and JQ …both ended up being big nothings. Nobody will remember them ever being in a UK uniform. No impact on the program at all …other than the money they took from it.

I really dislike this era of CBB.
36 games, 1440 available regulation minutes.
Lowe - 168 minutes
JQ - 68 minutes

Meanwhile Duke players are having surgery in March and playing 2-3 weeks later.

I won’t be too hard on Lowe. However, I said around December he was soft. Men that want to play figure it out even when hurt or even injured. I don’t think he would have made much of a difference with this team.
Are you saying he was too soft, because he couldn’t play through a shoulder popping out of its socket?
You think he should have manned up and figured out how to tough through that???
