Who has cancelled Fr or So seasons this year? So far I got:
Argo Sophs
Rich Central Frosh
It seems that there are quite a few teams that are not fielding freshmen teams. IC does not have a frosh team. Per the ESCC website, CoM, MCC, MC and Naz do not have freshmen teams. Not sure if that is accurate, because I thought Naz frosh played Montini last weekend. Maybe they are only fielding a Varsity and JV team in conference? Do not like seeing only 6 freshmen teams listed in standings in the ESCC.
I think you’ll see this as a trend if numbers continue to go lower ie X program has X number and satisfies the schedule needs the best they can week by week. Hopefully agreements can just be made at the AD level and no further regulations other than the 5 quarters-a-weekend rule. Keeping the spirit of lower level games as a development process rather than a W-L record goal.Nazareth is playing some freshman only games, some freshman/sophomore games, and some JV games.
When they tore down the housing projects in Chicago that was the death of Sica & many of it's programs
The ESCC dropped it as a whole. Some schools are still filling games though at those levels if they can.It seems that there are quite a few teams that are not fielding freshmen teams. I’m having difficulty understanding the correlation here. When they tore down the housing projects in Chicago that was the death of Sica & many of it's programs

That might be it. Maybe they dropped Sophs.Well if that is the case it seems unusual that the Conference Website (www.eastsuburbancc.com) has the listed the scores from the 4 schools that played Freshmen games last week and has 6 schools listed in what looks to be a Standings ranking. There is also a JV category shown as well. No “Sophomore” section. Perhaps that is the level the Conference dropped.
The kids who moved in did not go out for football like the kids who previously went to those schools did.I’m having difficulty understanding the correlation here.

we're old schoolWoof! That website is literally older than some of the freshman now playing!
These member schools ought to run the site via their collective computer science programs.
