He will not have a problem replenishing it with recruits that he was used to getting at Muarry will be blowing his phone up. That level of player will care less about sanctions or whatever they will get a chance to play at higher profile school regardless of what lies ahead. Something they would more than likely never got.

Hell, I saw yesterday supposedly they are down to only 1 Scholarship player left on their roster.

Crazy to think that LSU fans were screaming up and down a few weeks ago that Will Wade was not going anywhere. Lol.

I know it's bad for the basketball itself, but I'm glad these players now have the same option to leave as their coaches.

McMahon is a fine coach, but the difference in his experience at MSU during a regular season, from what he will see in the SEC, that is going to be a huge challenge for him. Murray St accomplished a lot, but it saw very few P5 opponents and that helps explain its inability to advance in the NCAA.

If he is going to take the players from Murray State I feel sorry for Murray.
The rebuild of the LSU basketball roster continued Friday when coach Matt McMahon signed one player while two others entered the NCAA transfer portal.

For the second time in four days, McMahon added one of his former players from Murray State from the transfer portal when guard Trae Hannibal signed with LSU.

The 6-foot-2 Hannibal joins former teammate Justice Hill, another guard who signed with LSU on Tuesday, in the fold as McMahon builds from the ground up.

Well at least he won't have the excuse that these are not my guys...I didn't recruit them....as he now has to build a team from scratch. Might be best way for him in the long run. Time will tell but I IDC much about LSWho from the almighty SEC. I did like the team and job he did at Murray St though.
