I saw on a bracketology by Joey Brackets that LSU was in our region. I wonder if theywould go down a bracket if we meet in the SEC-T?

it is funny as some bracketologists have LSU as a 6 or 7 seed and others have them as a 9 or 10 . I believe the truth lies in the middle i think if they get to the game with us they will be an 8 seed.

Destined for an 8 or 9. Even though their coach is awful, would still hate to have to face them in 2nd game if I'm Duke, Wisc, Villanova, etc....

Because if 5 SEC teams make it in the 5th OBVIOUSLY just has to be in our bracket instead of one of the other three.

Every effort should be made to spread out teams from the same conference IMO. Having 2 teams from the same conference potentially playing each other in the second game would be really bad on the part of the selection committee.

I think they will be hell to deal with for a 1 or 2 seed if they can make it past the 1st round.

I figured we would get the one that we only played once, and if we played LSU they would not fit that criteria.

Fairly certain there is and no way UK would have to face an SEC team in the second round of the tourney with only 5 or even 6 bids getting in. Only the big east when 9 teams was allowed in had to have a couple second round contests against each other. Not to anyones surprise only one other big east team even advanced past the first weekend, leaving two teams advancing that beat another big east team and of course both those teams lost the next round.
