I think this years matchups are going to be the best first round games we have seen. I think the 2 most talented teams in all three phases are Clemson and Ohio State, and I think Oklahoma matches up well with Oklahoma, and I like the fact for Oklahoma that Hurtz has faced and/or prepared for LSU the last few years. Burrow is gonna be hard to stop for the Sooner defense as he will be the best QB the Sooners have faced this season.

Clemson defense and special teams (punts inside the 5) dominated the first quarter. As Burrow said, at halftime the coaches figured out what Clemson was doing and came out and took over the game. Ran out the clock by running 22 again and again and then taking a knee. That was a nice touch by the ref letting Burrow keep the football at the end of the game, too. I was happy to see that Randy Moss' son got 2 TDs, equaling his 2019 regular season total. Randy sounded more like an elder statesman tonight. The old-style combative Randy just enjoyed his boy winning a national title.
Whew! That was a butt-kickin'.
