So first, Congrats to HC. Coaches kept their heads when it looked like GW was ready to put them away. A last second TD before half and a game tying last second field goal showed they never lost their heads. They made the right halftime adjustments to put LB #5 in position to make play after play. QB looked much better on field than on film. Kid made all the throws and controlled the clock during crucial moments. GW continues to make key mistakes at key moments.

So with another tough team coming to Duchon next Satureday, GW is staring down the barrel of fourth place in WSS. All that sandbagging I was doing before the year wasn't sandbagging after all. We knew we had holes. We knew had question marks at key positions and those have been exposed. The injuries have created more holes but everyone has injuries.

No @Wild_Mustang i won't be on a 7 day bender even though that sounds like a fun idea.

Actually, I am learning some lessons in empathy, which I'm sure makes JWar happy. Watching some other perennial powers take their lumps, I now know how much it sucks to have a down year. GW needed one of those.

Kudos to you Capn - The team I support isn't a perineal power and I want to go on a 7 day bender right now.

On the plus side - hitters will for sure make the playoffs. Odds are very nuch against the team I root for making it this year.
