So JCH taunts feeto into a second, more outrageous pick against a DSR team and feeto decides to ruin my day by picking LT.
For those of you playing along (or watching on Comcast), I offer some keys to the game:
Which Ben Bryant shows up
BB looked like Jay Cutler against Leyden by throwing 55 yard bombs on the money when he had time, while his game against Proviso West was filled with over throws and bad timing. I have been saying (to the snickers of many) that playing on a field with a crown like Duchon is very difficult for most QBs to figure out. Those 12 yard out routes often lead to over throws when a strong armed QB makes his normal throw because receiver is 2-3 feet lower than he is when he is on turf. BB's throws at PW looked like that exact situation happened. Can BB learn from PW and adjust to Duchon Field? A second factor is that no one has really pressure BB yet. Can Hetlet dial up the blitz packages to rattle BB and can Big Cat Moorehead beat LT's slower OTs on the edge. This will be huge. If BB has time and adjusts, could be a long day for GW.
Can Lt's suspiciously Hetlet like D scheme stop GW's much maligned O
LT now runs a D scheme that looks exactly like GW. Smart move. Issue is that they might not be as good as tacklers as GW. I see lots of guys getting to the ball but carriers getting 5-7 YAC many times. Can GW's O catch gears and establish the running game and avoid the penalties that plagued the team in the first three games? GW is getting stronger each week, but they will need to possibly turn it up a notch if LT starts putting points on the board. QB accuracy has improved tremendously and two weeks on Duchon will give him the advantage.
Prediction - 35-14 GW
