Luke is tied for 4th heading into Sunday at the Valspar Championship. Nice comeback from a lengthy layoff recovering from injury.

In the meantime, a shout out to another ex-Cat. Scott Harrington is hanging in so far with a good last round and will cash a good check at the web.com tourney in Louisiana. A lot of people on that tour have to be pleased with Scott, given what he's been going through with his wife's condition.

Luke shot +1 on the final day and ended up tied for 9th. Pulled in $174,200 for his efforts, not a bad week.

Long way to go to get to the $847k that Martin Piller made last year (he finished 125th on money list to keep his card). I believe that Luke gets 15 events to reach that amount so that he doesn't need to use his one-time top 50 all time exemption next season. . . maybe another big week at Harbor Town next month!!!

Hope he does it. Couldn't be a better ambassador for NU. Classy guy.

That's his game. Lack of length with the 1 Wood has been his issue.

Actually, it has been crooked with his 1 wood moreso than length that has contributed to his demise. He's not long but was extremely good when he was straight.

I watched him all weekend. Best iron play and short game of all the pros. He hooked his drive off the tee on final day and took double bogie and his bogie putt was an inch short. Luke missed two footers. Make those shots and he beats Paul Casey by a shot last weekend. Dang!
