Yes it has happened. A big East team was awarded a #1 without winning either. Why are you guys so occupied with future pain.
Agreed. Arizona lost to 3 NIT/CBI teams with a healthy team...I don't give a crap if they were close...losing ALL THREE should be held against them and it will be. I don't care if they leave Duke or UVA as a 1 but Arizona as a 1 would be a joke and ruin any semblence of fair balance in the top of each bracket. It would 100% assure UK Duke or UVA as their 2 seed...and be total BS.Originally posted by The_Answer1313:
If Wisconsin is a 1 seed and is moved out West meaning they are the weakest 1 why would Arizona jump Duke instead of Wisconsin?Originally posted by Tyblue22:
Joey Brackets SAID he thinks Virginia goes east with nova. And, not sure where the mileage post came from, but the mileage they showed on espn shows a 49 mile difference for Virginia, to Cleveland and to Syracuse.
Either way, that's not what matters. Here's what does, Wisconsin gets a 1 and goes west, so Gonzaga as a 2 must go to the Midwest. Which then moves Virginia to east bracket,
ALSO (very big) Joey Brackets SAID that Arizona, if they win and win big COULD steal Dukes 1 seed (but likely not to happen). Arizona only lost 3 games, all close, all on the road and they have also won 10 straight,

If right now he sees Duke being the 3rd 1 seed and Wisconsin the last, then why on earth would they knock Duke off the 1 line but keep Wisconsin on?
He's not making much sense.
Yes it has. Lunardi is only a predictor not the placerOriginally posted by sambowieshin:

Wichita State got a 1 last year, the top 1. Because they were undefeated. But, they played nobody. Arizona has lost 3 games, yes, but all were less than 4 points, all in conference on the road, Arizona has won 10 straight, They are not gonna get a 1 but you could also argue that Duke has now LOST 4 games, didn't win their conference regular season, AND didn't even make their conference tourney title game. And Virginia has list 3 times, and didn't even play the strongest in conference scheduke that the other ACC teams played. Lunardi just said all of this, Example, Virginia split with Louisville and split with North Carolina and only played Duke once and lost. So, we know Wisconsin deserves a 1, and like he said, its possible for Arizona to get a 1. (possible) Truth is, IF nova loses, we could have this:Agreed. Arizona lost to 3 NIT/CBI teams with a healthy team...I don't give a crap if they were close...losing ALL THREE should be held against them and it will be. Then UK gets UVA...so once again, do not want that so go Nova. Crush Xavier.Originally posted by Tyblue22:
