It's funny that the failed Shannon Dawson experiment that lasted all of a year resulted in a commitment from what will likely be the best QB to come here since Couch. Stoops should thank him after we run the score up on him in September
Fantastic news! Kid just needs a little more meat on his bones but he has everything you are looking for in a QB. Thank you Coach Dawson! Got one thing right 
True. Dawson also was responsible for Sihiem King who showed promise last season.
great to have Mac now step up & take a leadership role with the recruiting class, help fill the last few spots & keep them all together until Feb. Having leaders of the class is so important, it is what we had in '16 & '14 but missed badly in the '15 group.
Didn't Stoops or Gran say they focused more on passing this week?

I believe Barker will have something to say about that before it's all said and done. He should put up big numbers this year!
lol, every fan base is more excited about the next qb commit than the ones on campus. UGA fans are more excited about a kid committed for 17 than they are to have Eason on campus. We are a strange lot, college football fans, lol.
I was excited when Drew committed and I'm excited to see what he can do in this offense. I believe in him and he has all the tools to be one of the better qbs we've ever had here. I'm also excited about Gunnar Hoak's potential. I really like how he throws the ball and his presence in the pocket. But Jones is different. This kid is a natural. Drew can play the position well and he may end up playing it very well, but Jones was born a QB. He is special.
