Perhaps but if you look at what might happen with the increased possibility of 20 team conferences you could see the MAC being used to fill out several conferences like the MWC, AAC, Sun Belt ect

When it starts getting to 20-24 team conferences, the MWC, CUSA will be gone and those two will help fill out the AAC and Sun Belt. SEC and B1G will be P2, PAC and ACC will be Mid2, and the AAC and Sun Belt will be L2. MAC will know they will need to drop to FCS, cause of level and being on a north midwest island
