This guy is going to have over 50 teams contact him in a 48 hour span. My guess is a program like TX or Memphis could be good for him. With NIKE ties I forget what schools are NIKE but they would probably have a big edge. But it looks like he also wants that guaranteed PT Duke had a bit of a crowded front court maybe.
Yeah I don't hold out much hope for signing this guy. The only thing going is that Nolan was his recruiter at Duke and must have some rapport with him, but unless he commits, I'm assuming he is going elsewhere.

Yeah he decommitted mostly beacause Kyle Filipowski is returning to Duke. Or at least that's what I've heard.
UofL will try to get in on it for sure may as well. Let's sign him and clone him.

Getting anyone on UL campus is huge; no assurances, but I understand that our presentation is pretty compelling. Big NIL money may pop up here for Mackenzie.
I would equate this to Pitino getting Mashburn. He is a legit player with a college ready body/game in a position of need. He can be a ball handler at the four, good outside game and good defender.
If they land him practices are going to be tough there should be competition at every spot. It will help JJ, BHH and Glynn develop.
It is interesting getting him tells me Louisville NIL is in really good shape. That is the name of today’s game. It could indicate transfers #1 priority is playing time and then NIL. It is probably a combination but NIL isn’t the sole reason they aren’t coming to Louisville.

Do not forget about Kaleb Glenn; he kept his 2021 commitment to UL despite coaching change and his own transfer from Male HS.
I saw him play a lot his Junior year at Male, and he was comfortable handling the ball and shooting the 3, despite most having to play the 4 and 5. He was chiseled back then and I can only imagine how much more developed he is now after playing at LaPorte La Lumiere …….I expect he will contribute early on as a true freshman at the 3.

Well that means G league to me. Hope I'm wrong but seems like an easy decision to me.
Depends on how much the G-League values him. If he can make more hard to bet that. College to me is still the best route because of all the external factors.
