Before she became a senator and a top contender for Joe Biden's vice presidential spot, Sen. Amy Klobuchar spent eight years as the Hennepin County attorney, in charge of prosecution for Minneapolis. And while in that position, Klobuchar declined to prosecute multiple police officers cited for excessive force, and did not prosecute the officer who knelled on Floyd's neck as he protested.
Ex-Minneapolis police officer Derick Chauvin saw at least 10 conduct complaints during his 19-year tenure before he was fired Tuesday, according to a database that documents complaints against police. In particular, he was involved in the shooting death of a man who had stabbed other people before attacking police, as well as some other undisclosed complaints. Klobuchar did not prosecute Chauvin and other officers involved .
As The Washington Post noted in March, Klobuchar "declined to bring charges in more than two dozen cases in which people were killed in encounters with police" as Hennepin County attorney. Instead, she "aggressively prosecuted smaller offenses" that "have been criticized for their disproportionate effect on poor and minority communities," the Post continues.

The big question is why the law officials in Minneapolis have not arrested this cop....looks very clear cut to me.

Why do we let cops continually get away with this? I believe someone would have been justified shooting that cop off Mr. Floyd.

They hurried arrests in Baltimore and the cips mostly beat the charges. I think they want to get their **** together before they charge.

True....but the murder of this poor man is clear cut and it's all on tape. They should have been arrested when they saw the video.
They had zero direct evidence in the Freddy Gray case.

I agree with you. I think at least the one officer should be arrested. There are rumors that Floyd died of an OD. I am not buying that ****.

Unlike in some of these other ones, you don’t really see anyone making excuses for this one or even defending it.

Reporting that cause of death was asphyxiation.

Yeah but then a prosecutor comes out last night talking about some "evidence" that would lead to no arrest. People are probably speculating on that.
