These adjacent communities on the Mississippi riverfront each will go far in the playoffs.

Madison - in its second year playing ball after a decade hiatus - is 5-0 and will be in 1A again.

ESL is ESL.

Cahokia doesn't suck this year.

Madison will make the playoffs...however, with total opponents wins of 11, have to wonder how good they really are...Westmont, with only 8 opponents' wins, is the only school with fewer...

They have a very good and dedicated coaching staff. Why not them? It’s 1A ... a couple of really good players and you can win.

It's hard to schedule 9 opponents with losing records but Madison has manged to do so.

Madison is a 1A school without a conference. Not many school will play them hence is why they only have 8 games on schedule.

Once they get a bit more established - and if the same coaching staff stays motivated - Madison could turn into something in the small classes.
