Facing a RB commited to Perdue I can see this getting ugly but then again ER defense ain’t exactly the finest in the land. Prob by 21 but not any more or much more. Can’t see Maiden getting shut out either.
Just by the looks of him, he’s not intimidating at all. However, if you don’t wrap him up he’s gone. He will make you miss and when you see him run you can definitely tell he is a man among boys.
1. He have to have great grades and a great young man.
2. He has speed!!!

Exactly. It says a lot about the young man that they found him in Forest City.
ER will be hard beat. ER will make it to the 4th round. ER offensive line and defensive lineman are huge.
When ER doesnt make it to the 4th round I want you Shelby people to eat crow. Just because they in y'all conference don't mean anything. Just like last year all we hear is how great that conference is and how Shelby and south point are 2 best in the state. And neither made it deep in 2aa. So let the teams play and then talk
Shelby made it to the Western Finals, Facts 24, the game to advance to the state championship. I would consider that deep. Smh...

They do indeed, but I wasn’t that impressed with their offensive line, though, impressive skilled players, though.
Just saying if thought of as being best in state .4th round is not deep enough. And in title town. For reidsville and Shelby. If season doesn't end in a state championship appearance. Id say its closer to a failure .

Yep! Those days are long gone, that’s why I really don’t partake in the discussions anymore. Maybe the day will come where the demand for that game will become so high that the two programs will get together to discuss hooking something up, obviously a non conference bout.

Shoot I think the rams have an opening in the non conf next year. Wishful thinking
They could even schedule for some primetime Saturday night games for these wanted matchups .Then other counties could come watch. They played so many Thursday night games this year for almost no reason. Why not do Saturday's haha
East is a very good football team.

Everyone I talked to this year about East and the playoffs I told them a title shot will have to go through Reidsville. To be the man you have to beat the man. Like last year with Shelby v South point it sucks that a good team will have a early exit but if you want to keep playing WIN

In all seriousness I hope Easts athletes can overcome the coaching. This is not a knock on anyone but those of us that have seen many a many games know exactly what I’m talking about. But we will see
And they did exactly that tonight. That catch that Calvin made was UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
the coaches did what I thought they would. ill give credit where due though. they actually extended their playbook to 7 plays tonight. the "give it to mauney", the qb keeper, the screen pass to trips, the "throw it to mauney", the "throw it deep", and now the "give it to speedster on a sweep" that went yard. it was called back on some phantom ******** but so was anything else we ran that gained over 6 yards. the refs were atrocious. both teams got screwed by them and i say that because i dont know that he caught that damn ball.
