Good luck to Maiden tonight. I have always been a closet Maiden after I went to multiple games back in the late 70's.
If y’all score 40 on them I’ll be thoroughly impressed.
I don’t see 40 either I’m thinking 27-24 type game either team can win. With that said they gave up 35 to east lincoln I seen them twice and when Brevard is clicking there offense is more potent . Brevard problem is they take defensive plays off so if that happens maiden could pull away .
Which one of you Brevard heathens met ole Shelby Lion at Wendys up in Brevard for breaking of bread, back in the days when we had the home and home

17_7 halftime Brevard winning. Our defense is playing great offense isn't. 7 pts for Brevard came of a strip fumble of our QB
Brevard also dropped a touchdown . I like maiden offense play calling until 1 went out

Congrats Brevard! All eyes were all over other conferences but maybe that little old Mountain 8 conference had a few 4A teams after all. Computers just couldn’t like our conference most of the season.

Not patting myself on the back but I knew that just from seeing Burns twice over the summer. Not trying to disrespect other teams but Burns had the line AND skill guys to match up the best with Brevard.
We played them to 2OT and came up a yard and a half short. I consider tied at regulation to be a decent showing.Congrats to Brevard. Turns out Burns gave you the best game

Brevard vs. Reidsville has a lot of history ... No. 1 on the list of games is the 0-0 state championship tie in 1963.
Reidsville leads 5-1-1 all time in the historic series.
The one I personally remember was the semifinal game in 1969 - Reidsville won 14-6 at Brevard one week before beating Pisgah 10-7 in the state championship game at Kiker Stadium in Reidsville.

I watched Reidsville and West Craven last night. Brevard is much better than WC. Very few penalties. Very balanced and a very disciplined. Should be a fun game to watch.
Hate it for my pals Maiden Creek and Grizz.... Congrats Brevard.... Yall and Reidsville will be a barn burner.... Best of luck to both
