Oklahoma is the first DIA school to a football team and a basketball team to the final four. I know the football playoffs have only been around 2 years, but we are still the first.

I was thinking the same thing last night. Before the College Football Playoff, OU was among a very small handful of schools that could boast of playing for National Championships in football and basketball. And they are doing it again. I think that speaks volumes to the job that Joe C, Stoops and Kruger have done. Not to mention Patti Glasso, Sherri Coale, etc. It's a great time to be a Sooner!
OU is also ranked number 1 in men's AND women's gymnastics. Both teams have been burying their competition and both are likely to win their respective championships. Both have the strongest teams in program history and have been setting records, including the women setting the highest score achieved at a Big 12 championship meet.
