And I’ll also add, he lacks aggressiveness. Hopefully something he can learn, although some guys never do.

MM best quality is is human nature. He is very carrying young man with a bright future ahead.

NBA ready after freshman year? A big NO. No outside threat , not a good rebounder, still goes after balls with one hand, bad form in FT and low % combined moderate ability to finish around the rim, makes him a liability..if a team would get him would be for GLeague …. He can make more money an$ get more glory staying 2-3 years at Kentucky.

He needs to develop lower body and upper body strength. Work on foot work and finish around the rim. I want to see a reliable hook and counter. I want to see at least a 75% from FT. I want to him to see expand to a reliable 10- 12 ft from different spots on the court. I want to see him rebound with two hands every ball . Then still work on passing and D.

He is a good freshman and in time could become a great player and maybe make it to the league. It takes time, hard work, persistence and patience.

You want the lottery numbers as well? Probably UNC
Just wondering if the worst kept secret is your opinion or if I missed something. If you had the winning numbers I’d take them but you don’t so that’s pointless of you to ask.

Probably UNC? Aw ok worst kept secret is you don’t know jack.

He needs
more aggression and motor as well as offense refinement and footwork. Please don't transfer to Louisville whatever you do.

Ik you clearly stated about some being upperclassmen but do you think the NBA likes a senior that is slightly better than a freshman that’s just getting going. The fine tuned senior with all that experience is barely better. Moreno won’t get bullied by a single person in college ball. He’s had a few games stretch recently where he’s looked slow. Still held his own.

He comes back and gets conditioning up a level he will be unstoppable.
TN bigs dominated Moreno. He’s a good player but still has a ways to go. Sure NBA drafts on potential but late first round money you are better off coming back to college now and earning your way toward top 10 pick money. Late first round is also not even a guaranteed first round pick, could easily slide into the 2nd.

I think Moreno is here next year. He sees the value in a year two at UK I would think. All I’m saying is if he enters the draft he will get drafted 100%.

Brother everyone knows he’s transferring. His family isn’t happy with usage. Make a few social media accounts and stop getting angry because someone is telling you something you don’t like.

90% of the drafts are not ready anymore they draft purely on potential now. Do I think he is ready for the NBA NO, but what everyone is forgetting with Moreno is you can't teach 7 foot tall and the NBA loves size. If he wants to go pro next year he will 100% get drafted. Unless he falls off bad in the last part of the season I would actually be shocked if he don't go late first round at the worst.

It’s not that I don’t like it. I’ve thought it’s possible he could transfer. Not a for sure thing at all. Was just making sure I didn’t miss anything other than speculation.

I mean he does have a brand Ky till I die. Not angry man.

I forgot to mention though there is big pay difference between lottery pick and late first round though so he might come back to try to work into a much higher pick. I think this years draft may very well be generational in talent too especially with college freshman it is truly loaded. He would probably move up 10 spots just on it being lesser draft than this year if he came back and declared next year. I could even see a scenario where if he got a lot better where he could be a top 10 pick next year.

Maybe it changes but his family has been outspoken about this season.

Let him come back for another year and his draft stock ( and $$) will improve dramatically. He'll get big NIL $$ from UK as well. No brainer.

Moreno may have exceeded many people's expectations for him but not for me. I have always been impressed when watching Moreno on the court with the effort he brings and how active he is. Moreno keeps getting better!
