Best of luck to MC, gotta take care of his young family and momma.
Just my 2 cents but he needs another year here.
I don't think many people would disagree, but didn't he get a late first round grade? So worst case scenario is 2nd round? Can't blame him.
Still life changing money for the kid and his family. Time for the Davis bros to show what they can do as well as Maurice/Williams.

Good for MC, wishing he would have stayed, but also wish him well as he moves on. Time for next man up to step up and fill his shoes! Hope too that VV comes back and not only makes our D better, but also improves his position in next year's draft. Kinda nice having that quality of player back in the Husker fold!
Very deep draft for DTs this year. Hope VV stays. Sounds like Kevin Williams is reevaluating if he is coming back after not playing last night

Big loss for us for sure, it just stinks to lose such a good player at such a hard to fill spot. I'd have been shocked if he didn't declare and believe with all my heart it's his best move here. Congrats for putting yourself in this position my man, and as much as I ragged on old Bo, if I remember this situation correctly, MK was prolly one of his best jobs. Didn't we swoop in late after losing out on a big time DT commit or transfer? Don't remember the specifics, but it seemed bad around here for DT and Bo identified and closed on him pretty fast. I think.

Williams would be eligible to be a graduate transfer and play elsewhere which has been discussed some. Logan Rath will not see playing time at Nebraska. Great kid but just out of his element.
How appropriate that our last memory of him was thst he beat his block, nearly ran down Rosen, causing him to scramble, and leading to an INT. Good luck to him in the league.
