Yeah, I was wondering that myself. I read somewhere that he is a longshot to make the 53-man roster come regular season. I believe that as of this moment there are 14 receivers in camp, so he only has a few weeks to impress (although he did catch a touchdown pass in their most recent preseason game against San Diego). I don't know if it's an option for him, but players in the past have been able to make a team by playing lights-out on special teams.

He was one of the top 10 receivers in school history, not sure what's so odd about that.

Illinois hasn't always been awful in football, it just seems that way.
He should have more stats. Far better player than they suggest. Dealt with a terrible offensive situation. For a WR with absurd skills, his career took an odd shape.
