Mallard Creek is 11-6 against Chambers, since the doors opened in 2007. This year we played top 10 ranked nationally Buford, with over 30 Power 5 kids on the roster. We made it out safe. I watched Highland Springs get on the Bus after the win against Chambers. No one limped onto the Bus. We had no injuries against a very talented Gaffney Team. Win or lose, I believe Creek will be ok after the game. IJS! Looking forward to the game.

Why did I think the series was closer. The series got real in my opinion when Chambers upset Mallard Creek in 2010 in the playoffs. A couple blow outs but typically one score games that come down to the wire. The Brand-Palmieri games were some of the hardest hitting games I have seen on the HS level.
From what I have seen from Chambers offensively they try and out athlete/talent their opponents. Its getting the ball out quick to their playmakers in space so they can make a play. Not many variations in formations, motion or route combinations. It works when the the talent is largely in their favor but when the talent gap is close, Chambers will have a tough time scoring. Chamber’s defense is legit so it will be a slugfest.

Solid, close and very hard hitting game. The 2 fumbles by MC really the difference. One a scoop at midfield that Chambers took down to the two yd line. The killer was the early 2nd half one where the young soph QB fumbled on the 10 yd line as MC was getting ready to tie it up.
Chambers played a very clean game. No turnovers, very few penalties. I like the Chambers QB. Tough kid, and the put him in spots to be successful. Roll that pocket and give him some options. Thought LJ called and very good game for them.
I see very little separation at the top of Meck County. Hough, Chambers, MC, Catholic, Butler, Indy, Olympic....
I think its gonna be a very good playoff.

Great game by Chambers, I didn’t think Chambers would score enough points but they did. I guess you’re right about the predictions, I did pick Chambers to beat Hough last month and I was wrong. The playoffs will be fun

Yeah man...I haven't watched or even looked at a football game in 2022. It's no big deal but also freaky/creepy to see. Vance/chambers isn't the same especially after losing Ferebee and smothers getting suspended...I said screw it I'm done.
