Just wondering how other dudes have their man caves set up. Mine is in my basement. Its about a 500 square foot rectangular room. About 200 feet of it is a play area for my little urchins. In the remaining 300 square feet I have a very comfortable chair with an ottoman that easily seats two people and a big couch with a chase that easily seats six people. They face a large media center which houses a 60-inch Sony LED. Sound is via the Sonos 5.1 wireless home theater which is awesome. Its basically a small movie theater and my guy friends love it. The wife says I am obsessed with it, which I am.

Once the student loans are paid off in five or six years I plan on upgrading to a 75-inch ultra HD Sony and getting the Klipsch 5.1 wireless Reference Premiere home theater.

Theater seating, 80-inch Sharp Aquos 3D tv with Bose sound system. Harmony Ultimate remote. Walls are painted charcoal gray with plenty of OSU Fatheads and a wet bar, fridge, and microwave. I also have shelving installed with OSU memorabilia. It's my refuge and I would never leave if it weren't for all the damn bills to pay.

That sounds awesome! How do you like the 80-inch TV?

Really like it. I have a 55" 4K tv in another room but I enjoy the Sharp more. I know a lot of people aren't 3D fans, but I really enjoy the movies. Of course, 3D is practically done as a format so I've bought a lot of 3D DVD's just so I can have them.

The wife thinks the shag rug is tacky but whatever, she's not really ever allowed in anyways.

That's awesome. Basement or bedroom?

Not mine. I wish! I was just scrolling through some "ultimate man caves". I'm jealous of yours.

Unfortunately my man cave is the garage and there's not really a ton going on out there other than a home gym.

My "man cave" is actually quite cave like. It's a room with its own entrance on the side of the house. It's a pretty small room, but I have it stocked with a 40 inch TV, small fridge, desk, recliner, and a counter top with shelving for my manly doo dads.

I go in there to play video games, clean guns, work on guns...and bring guns home that I have purchased without the wife knowing about them lol.

I used to have a couple of my old vintage Honda 3 wheelers parked in there, but I bought more guns and sold those to pay for.....ammo. And more guns...

I also like to go in there and masturbate uncontrollably whenever the mood strikes me.

Thank goodness for dead bolts.

5 tvs - 65" 4K Panasonic and four 40" Samsungs. 7.2 surround. Seating for 4 in front and 4 behind a bar right behind the seats in front. Wet bar. Perfect for NCAA tourney and football Saturdays.

Have poolroom upstairs with bar, but only one tv.

I have a 65" sharp on the back porch. Bought it last September. It's awesome.

Beginning to think they don't make bad tvs anymore.

I don't have much of one now but my last one was an unfinished basement that was the entire footprint of the house. I had a crappy couch, a coffee table I bought from fib in college with a tv on it. I also had a pool table and an archery range.

I am just starting on my man cave. We just moved in to a new house and I have claimed an addition room that has unfinished cedar paneling, a wet bar, 1/2 bath. I am going to go for a jazz club speakeasy type feel. I bought a couch last night and I am going to make desk, coffee table, TV stand, and book shelf from butcher block counter tops that I will stain and fit with black pipe legs. I will hang my instruments that I used to play but are now just collecting dust in the garage on the walls. The shelves over the wet bar have my antique mason jar and bottle collections. I am going to tin tile the ceiling.I am waiting for a good deal to buy a new Samsung 4kUHD TV for it. Here in a couple of months it should be a pretty cool place to chill and hang out in while having a bourbon and watch the games.
