Man, I sure wish we could recruit the St. Louis area better...

I look on recruiting websites and they have 4 and 5 stars galore. Obviously, Illinois, Mizzou, OSU and Iowa recruit the area well but they are just 4 hours West, easy drive down I-64. Schnelly used to get kids from there. Just wishing.....the 4 star (Ford) DE who visited over the weekend and the 3 star DT (Wingo) who visited two weeks before got me thinking, that's all.

It's 4 hours but man that is about three hours of the most boring, sleep inducing drive I have ever endured and we do it a minimum of twice a year.

I lived in St. Louis for a few years. That area just doesn’t identify with those to the East. It’s much more tied to the North and West (Chicago, KC, etc). Much more presence of Big 10 and Big 12 even though Mizzou is now in SEC.

You guys nailed it, boring drive included, very pretty drive this time of the year but I say turn Cort Dennison loose on that area and let him open a 55 gallon drum of ...…..on the area! Time to change all the aforementioned facts.
