Man, is Galloway a hater

I don't disagree with the Cards being #5. Clemson has three top 25 wins to the Cards one, and they won head to head. However, Joey Galloway is such a hater that he ignores what the others say outright. He still calls the Cards a one man team, when he should know that isn't even close to being true. He brings up the close games against Duke and Virginia knowing Clemson has some of those themselves. NC State and Troy come to mind. But that doesn't matter to him. If he just disagreed that would be fine but he shows his hate by ignoring or discounting any other metric that has the Cards #5. Herbstreit and Pollack both said Louisville hands down are better than Wisconsin and Penn State but not Galloway.

I don't know what he has against Louisville. There's no history with him, but he is showing his unprofessional attitude even if he really believes what he's saying about the Cards. There is no doubt that he will brag his *** off if Louisville loses to Houston. It will be like he's a UK fan and Cards fans will not forget and I'm sure Galloway will be a lifetime hater of Louisville for no real reason.

I bet his hatred started when he saw JT Barrett not get off to a good start in the Heisman race.

Maybe he has no feelings about it and just thinks UL is not that good. Just throwing that out there as a possibility.

You and Joey are truly profound. 2 P's in a pod. You seem to be hanging around a lot here lately as it seems well, weird and consumed with fear that Bobby Petrino could get in the club and bust down the snobbish walls and win a National Title for the Louisville Cardinals.

Oh, and a truly deserving Lamar Jackson winning the Heisman must be a nightmare to all the stiffs that have won the trophy while playing for the traditional so called powers.

Barry Sanders winks on that last one.

CardLaw is an odd Alabama fan as far as I am concerned. I have spent a lot of time in Alabama this year working on projects and the Alabama fans have been real complimentary of Louisville. The ones I have talked to and the ones I hear on their talk shows all believe Louisville should be in the playoffs.

I can't speak for Joey Galloway, but I personally don't give a rat's ***. Who Alabama beats December 31 and who they beat January 9 is not really all that important. If I had to guess, I would guess Galloway is unconcerned as well. All I care about is the analysis. The "who" is irrelevant.

That's cool but I'll make you a deal. I'm betting you do not have the decency (class) to come back here and say "congrats Louisville" if the Cards win it all. With all the odds in your team's favor, we will see what you are all about or not.

Every team in the top 4 had close games against teams they shouldn't have. I am glad Kirk Herbstreit dispelled the myth that you have to be a conference champion to make it to the playoffs.

It is not a "myth". So far, every team to make the CFP has been a conference champion. We have yet to see a year in which there were two or more 2-loss conference champions. If that should occur this year, all bets are off. But, presently Ohio State stands a better chance than Louisville of making it as a non-champion.

What would you know about "decency" or "class"?

Coming from a parasite that hangs his fragile ego on whether Louisville is good in football and praying that Bammer always stays ahead. I'd say, a lot.

See pal, I'm happy just watching what's happening in Cardinal Athletics. I had to laugh when you insult Cards fans on here by blasting them with "basketball fan", as if we are not proud of that and able to walk and chew gum.

Maybe we will see your whole identity in January (aka Bama Football). I'm betting we win.

No 2-loss team has made the playoff yet. One stat has about as much relevance as the other...

That's because the average Alabama fan knows football. They know how to decipher a team by watching them. They're like us in basketball.

The good thing was Herbie and Pollack pushed back HARD against him.
Yep those guys are using the eye test. They KNOW we are one of the best. I was surprised by Reese. I realize he is an Alabama alum. He is usually level headed but he just burst out to that committee guy. I wanted to slap the **** out of him and Galloway.

Much easier for Alabama to defend against the Wisconsin or Penn State offense-(see Michigan State last year) than against a much better version of DeShaun Watson with a nasty defense to back him up with Louisville

And according to Eric Crawford's piece this morning, the committee dropped hints that no 2 loss team will make it this year either.

Good news.
It is very good news. We have to win out and one of the other 1 loss teams to lose again. OSU or Michigan will end up with 2 losses because they play each other so that eliminates 1 of them as long as the committee is true to their word.

Houston is all that matters right now. Nothing else.

That was a passionate debate, for sure; but I think the committee chair summed it up nicely when he said 2-6 were very close and they had to use something to distinguish them...the question is what do you hang your hat on, and the schedule is a glaring disparity between those other schools where as the eye test is subjective.

Real question......why is there a so called "Bama" fan that hangs out on this bored everyday? It is so creepy and weird, even if he just happens to be your typical cayuts troll.....that's even more creepy. Dude needs to get a damn life while also being banned.

CardLaw should not be banned because he disagrees. I don't agree with him a lot of the times but that's okay. I don't mind the chance of convincing him that he's got it wrong. He's not profane and unlike UK fans, has a football team that can back him up. I look forward to that day when the Cards get their chance against the Tide and CardLaw's excuses when they get beat.

Not clear on how I can "hang my ego" on something I have never thought, said or expressed. Show me a single post in 2016 where I said Louisville is not good.

Show me one, Mr Decency and Class.

Correct. Hence: all bets are off. Neither you me or anyone has a clue what will happen if there are two or more 2 loss conference champions.

So it is not possible Joey Galloway actually thinks UL is not a playoff caliber team?

Has it ever occurred to you that the opinions of people not die hard fans of UL may - just may - have a different opinion than you as to UL's relative strength?

Thank you, RealVille. Unfortunately, I don't think you will get that chance. In my opinion, Ohio State will beat Michigan which will guarantee a two loss Big 10 champion and either Oklahoma or Oklahoma State will win the Big 12 meaning another two loss champion. If that happens, I have no idea who will be in the playoffs.

My opinion (stated many times) is that no non winner of any conference will make the playoffs if there are four 0-1 loss P5 conference champions. Since it looks like that scenario will not materialize this year, there is no way to prove or disprove my opinion this year.

As Cubs fans used to say, "wait 'til next year".
