Northwestern dropped its eight straight, 69-64 to No. 22 Wisconsin, despite 45 points from Vic Law and Dererk Pardon.
Great effort not enough to stop NU's losing streak

The “no touch” foul on Pardon around the same time was another illustration. The Wisconsin shot taken from behind the basket that then bounced three times off the back of the rim and dropped was the a one shot summary of the whole season.

Seriously. We also missed the front end of two 1 and 1s late in the game which is also part of the problem. We seem to have a lot of bad luck accompanied by our own shooting woes.
Reminded me of Turner's big 1-and-1 miss in OT vs. Oklahoma. This killed me. Worse, I knew it was going to happen.
Law went to the line the Cats down one. Pardon with them down three. These were effectively turnovers from the seniors. Ugh.
Or his 1-1 front end miss against IA. While I did not like to see Pardon's miss, it was somewhat OK from a 60-65%FT shooter (up from 50%). But the other misses were from guys who are 80-85% FT shootersReminded me of Turner's big 1-and-1 miss in OT vs. Oklahoma.
