Okay what just happened... Goldin is a p*ssy and took an elbow off a rebound so we got docked 4 points?
'Cats had a fast-break opportunity with numbers, and the announcers agree the refs shouldn't have stopped the play. But they did stop the play, looked at the monitor and retroactively called a flagrant 1, then of course FAU got the ball after the free throws. Just a huge call.

That flagrant call rescued FAU.

Maybe it was the right call, but it was huge. The 'Cats were about to put it away.
So they incorrectly stopped play for an injury at the other hoop when NU was advancing the ball (that was incorrect by rule)

Then they review for a foul, give FAU a flagrant 1 when Martinelli is looking the other way and can't see behind him... FAU gets two shots AND the ball??!

If NU had scored / completed their possession, then would they have counted the points or gone back a full possession?

That was not done correctly, at all. And completely changed the game. Another brutal game changing call under 5 min in an NCAA Tourney Game, shades of Gonzaga. Ugh.

It was a flagrant one. He clocked him and left a strawberry.

I'm surprised they didn't call another one on Brooks for brushing 50's hair. did you see how he reacted to the contact? I think there's a concussion.

How was that mugging not a foul? We ended up hitting a 3, so it worked out, but I don't understand how the refs allow that much contact.
