I wanted to start a thread for all of the non-Duke games in the tournament (hope I didn't step on anyone's toes by doing that, haha). I'm actually quite interested to see the Wichita State/Vanderbilt game this evening. I think it could be a good one.

Let's get this party started.

I live five minutes from Stony Brook, and they should have been in the last three years but got upset in the America East tourney, so I'm definitely gonna watch them. But what a draw...Kentucky? Can't they get even a little break?

I just read an article about President Obama's NCAA Tourney picks this year and he has us losing to Texas A&M in the Elite 8 and he also has Kansas beating UNC in the title game

Hey I'll take that! Us getting to elite 8 and Kansas beating UNCheat in the national championship and the tarholes having to watch the confetti fall on Kansas as they celebrate their national championship victory.

Yeah I hope he's right and we make it to at least the Elite 8 and I'd also take Kansas beating UNC for the title

I believe that FGCU, Farleigh Dickenson, Holy Cross and a few others in the play in games are conference tournament champions.

I'm looking for other opinions on this, but it has always been my feeling that automatic qualifiers should never have to play in the play-in games. I just feel like they did exactly what they had to do to get into the tournament and are being punished for it.

I understand that many (if not most) of the automatic qualifiers are worse teams than just about all of the at-large teams, but it seems to me they were given a task of winning their conference tourney and accomplished the goal. They should not be forced to play-in to the tournament. I feel that the lowest rated at-large teams should be in the play-ins. Just my opinion though.

I agree with you. The play in games should be for the small schools who were really good, but happened to get upset in their conference tournament. Monmouth, is a perfect example of a team that should be in a play in game type situation. They got upset in their respected tournament but they are still good enough to at least be in a play in game. The teams who are automatic qualifiers yet somehow have to still play themselves into the tournament. You are right, I don't get that.

Love the new tourney floors, has the location right on sideline & clearly more colorful than last few years of all black out of bounds.

I do to. It got old seeing that big ugly NCAA logo in the middle of the court. At least now the courts have a sleak modern design

Nice to hear the G-Man doing these games. Too bad his partner sucks.

Did you guys see the Baylor player dunk and chin up. Cost his team 2 points and momentum. If one of ours guys did that he would be sitting on the bench trying to sit as far away from Coach k as possible. Remember Maggette against Florida that year. I was at Cameron that night and had a set of binoculars. I just had to see. Cory went as far away from Coach K as he could but the G.O.A.T. walked over and I could read his lips and it went something like this. "Don't ever let me see you do that again." OFC

Is he the same guy that shoved his team mate Gaithers on the side line. I wouldn't shove Gaithers. That's a man. What a chump. OFC

I would walk around Wal-marts wearing a Duke shirt and grinning for the remainder of the tourney.
I would go buy a FGCU shirt just to rub it in a buddy of mine's face because he's a tarhole fan and everytime Duke has gotten out of the tourney, he's bought a shirt to represent the team that knocked us out

FGCU is getting good looks in the post and are finishing a good number of them.
