Binge watched it over the weekend. I thought it was a really good show. I also liked Peaky Blinders.

I watched the first 4 episodes of MP then lost interest. Probably will pick it up again at some point.

H Town, I did the same thing. Still have one episode left to watch in Peaky Blinders. I liked MP a lot and like season 1 more than season 2 on Peaky Blinders. Another series I watched on Netflis that was pretty good is Broadchurch.

I thought Broadchurch was very good. I didn't expect the ending at all. I also really liked the 1st season of Peaky Blinders. Another series I've really liked is Wallander. I think I'm down to the last 2 episodes of the 2nd (2013) season. Another series I CAN'T recommend is Southcliffe from across the pond. It's about a multiple killing murder spree a former soldier went on and the backstory of it all. Really depressing.

I fell a sleep during the first episode on Marco Polo so I kinda wrote it off. Does it get better as the season goes on?

I thought it did. I never really cared for the main character too much and I thought they took some of the focus away from him as the season went on. Good fight scene in the finale.

I agree. Totally counter-intuitive, IMO, because if someone had told me what the show was about, before I started watching it, I would have yelled "BORING" and refused to watch it. However, all I heard was that it was just a really good show, and I gave it a chance. It is one of the few shows that my wife and I can both watch together and neither of us is spending half the time looking at our phone (me) or reading a magazine (her).

Season 5 (on PBS anyway) started last night. It was a good episode. Season 1 was amongst the best seasons of any show I've watched.

Been, that perception is what kept me from it for several years. Glad I did turn it on. The actors and writing are just tremendous. Professor McGonagle as the frumpy old granny is hilarious.

You missed all of the professionals in the Hall of Five Desires. You need to give it a chance. It gets really good.

I like a lot of stuff you guys suggest so I am going to have to give this one another chance. I am also going to check the other one out that was suggested. Gotta have something to kill time until GOT comes back on.
