I am a Marist guy, but just thought I had to defend the HF team a bit. Maybe in previous years they have squandered some talent advantage, but I did not feel at all that HF was undisciplined at all this year. They played very good, disciplined football, but they just weren’t the better team. Overall, Marist had better athletes. HF front 6 were legit, but they didn’t have answers for Marist skill positions. They also didn’t have an offensive threat to break it at any time. The better team won.

How far could H-F be realistically expected to go this year in light of how LWE handled them and LWW gave them trouble? Their anticipated starting QB transferred out, which seemed to set back the passing game. Offensively, their staff appears to work hard from week-to-week tweaking their attack, which the players learn and execute. Defensively they cover field and formation in a basically sound manner. Discipline of team looks in line with public schools similar to the Vikings. The 2 non-cons they scheduled this season were physically loaded. Maybe time to ease up on H-F a tad?

then Marist dominates.....

Clown
ESCC...50% correct is not quite clown material on this board, or we would all fit that category. H-F has not had overflow crowds at football games since IG88 days.Attendance is far from a problem at H-F football. As far as traveling spectators I will bet they have more students at an away basketball game at LWE this season. BUT thanks for the compliment.
