Besides the possibility of pulling a Sharpe, we’re seriously expecting too much out of a guy who has been out for over 9 months.

Anyone expecting JQ to be anything more than another big body that might put in 10-15 minutes a game, assuming he plays, are going to be very disappointed. The irony of fans putting all their hope in JQ somehow turning this season around is you’re setting yourselves up into making the outcome of all this an even bigger failure than it already is.

Just don’t expect much. You’ll be lot more grounded by realistic expectations if you do.

We have

1. A coaching staff that isn’t performing at all. Even with the players out, when they come back it’s the same story.

2. An AD that has signed the worst contract in college sports handcuffing our program and bleeding it out slowly. And there’s no indication it’ll change at all.

3. A coach who is gaslighting us to death and lying to everyone. And I supported him remaining to see if changes are coming. They’re not. Right now he’s trying to convince you JMI and Mitch’s are wonderful.

So you can play this game and worry about the molehill. Kentucky isn’t Kentucky, we’ve been a bad program going on a decade. That means blue blood status is losing steam. It’s very, very serious the position we are in. You don’t have to like people speaking reality, you’re more than welcome to pretend it doesn’t exist and molehill the thing to death. But what what do is tell people who deal in reality what they will and won’t talk about. You certainly won’t tell me a damn thing I will and won’t talk about buddy. Make sense? If JQ turns this team around great, but there’s no indication it’s going to fix this mountain of crap UK is facing so it’s going to be discussed.

The team will need to get healthy just to make the tournament. Not be a threat. This isn’t Murray. It’s a huge problem.
Almost as huge as problem as fans like you

You’re an idiot if you can’t understand the post. This isn’t hard. Blue blood.

Act like it.

decade of garbage and 30% of you dragging us down into mediocrity. You won’t see this with Alabama football in the modern era I’ll tell you that. Won’t happen at Duke. Haven’t seen it at Kansas. Unc? Not to this legit of ineptitude.

kinda Wish some of you would root for Murray and roll. It’s more your speed. Blue blood bases don’t go for this bs. Sounds like some of you are dragging us down. Western, Murray, Morehead there’s plenty of average to jump on.

10 years of absolute trash and some of it not even close to blue blood material. Now this? You can save it. The problem might be the mid part of the base like you.

I think he’s mad at you over Pope. I know he agrees with you on Mitch. One thing I can say is some of these guys stay loyal to the coaches Mitch hired no matter what.

I said very much the opposite my man. No idea how you got that from my very glowing remarks about him. I’m a big JQ fan…is there anything in my breakdown of his game that you specifically disagreed with, or is this some kind of passive aggressive remark intended to insult me somehow?
I'm not "your man," and if I was, I'd kill myself. You called him plodding and raw. That is not "glowing."

"Begging the question" is a logical fallacy. Why don't you defend your comments about him rather than trying to turn this around on me?
I already did. I basically drew up a scouting report on the guy. How about if you don’t know a damn thing about what you’re talking about or do any research or work on your own, ya don’t just sit on the sidelines ridiculing others? I’ve not heard you say a single thing that supported your own point to begin with. As a matter of fact, you remind me of this guy:

Bring something unique to the table sometime. Stand on an opinion you earned lol.

I know enough to say that you were being critical and not giving him "glowing" praise. I wasn't ridiculing you. Stop being so thin-skinned and explain yourself. Burden of proof is on you.

My posts are still there. Glowing would be a fair way to explain a player that I compared to Nerlens Noel. He racks up stocks (steals/blocks), has gravity because of his slashing/driving ability, has great basketball IQ, and not only has a strong but agile body. I even explained in those original posts that I referred to offensive game as somewhat “plodding” because of how raw he is. He plays somewhat stiff on that end of the court. He will score about 10-12 ppg off of drives, occasional post ups and offensive rebounds. He’s a load to handle, but you’re not going to run an offense through him. That’s pretty damn glowing — he’s as good right now as a former top 10 NBA draft pick. Except I actually said I think he’s better because of the versatility. So yeah…that was hours of my own work that went into that analysis. If you want to poke holes in something I’m fine with it — I expect you to do your own work and know your ****.

Compare me however. There’s a world of ideas waiting for you to create one. It’s been a pattern —- I rarely see you contribute anything other than the kind of thing you tried to do to me. I just don’t care to call it exactly what it is. You have nothing to add yourself, so poking at others is your way of contributing. Use your own ****** brain and we can poke holes in your ideas.

I bet you will. Unfortunately for you, I don't strut around and measure my own self-worth by how much ad nauseum I create.
Gaslighting 101. I didn’t pick this, you did. And you still failed to add a single word yourself about JQ. And I’m looking at your recent posts —- it’s nothing but you doing the same thing to others. That kind of thing might seem clever in your mind —- it takes zero effort or cognitive ability. It’s especially ironic because I saw you actually called out a poster a few days ago for doing that very same thing and you effectively called it cringe. Just don’t go around picking fights that you don’t have the intellectual bandwidth to sustain.

I don't think we'll see him. If not, then I will wholeheartedly call for Pope's firing. I think that alone would send much of BBN boo'ing him out of Lexington. If he does play, I expect him to give 100%, not try and hide from injury.

This is the worst-case scenario unless you are in the belief he won't suit up at all. Pope and JQ aren't stringing Kentucky along like Cal and Sharpe did. Your 10-15 minute benchmark is what you can expect when he first comes back. Barring any setbacks he'll be over the 20-minute mark. No one is expecting JQ to suddenly become a force scoring the ball, but he's an elite level rim protector.

Well is Owen going to be okay with not just Aberdeen but also now deferring to JQ? He’s had an attitude ever since Aberdeen was brought in but now he’s going to want to feed JQ and be 3rd when he’s the man? Doubt it. Probably bringing more issues on the way.

These guys are coasting. They got paid they’re just trying to ride out the season.

Owen better really think about his options for pro ball. The nba is out, he’s not good enough for the head case issues. Overseas is what he has now, and I think that’s going to fade once the year is over the word it out. They can’t conceal this forever. This is why you don’t give kids with baby mindsets millions especially without accountability.
Are you talking about Oweh?
