Ben Slanker with a 3 run homer and a grand slam so far. WOW! Apparently, he just needs a solo homer and a 2-run shot to hit for the home run cycle! 🤣Cards lead 8-3 through 3 innings.

Monstrous offensive performance today - first appearance of Zion Rose as well. UofL ended up with 4 homers, 3 doubles and a triple. 16 hits in 33 at bats. Also, two good relief appearances by Ty Starke and Jack Brown allowed us to win it in 7 innings. Slanker ended up with 8 RBIs, adding a sacrifice fly to his two homers. Cards win 16-5, to improve to 11-5 in the season.

Going to be a wild day at the ballpark. 35mph+ wind gusts and rain expected at about 3pm, so they have pushed up the start of the game to 10am.

Colton Hartman is the starter for the Cards. Marshall gets two hits and a run to take the lead in the top of the first.

Ok, wow, Tague Davis with his 2nd homer of the game, this time a 3run shot. He’s recreating yesterday’s game from Ben Slanker! Cards lead 12-2 and Davis has 8 RBI’s. Second Marshall pitcher has been chased….

Happy for Hartman. He gave up a lead off homer in the 5th, and a single, but no further damage. Having pitched 5 innings, he’s now officially in-line to get the Win today. He’s probably done at this point, having already thrown 102 pitches.
