Streak of 0-10 in games vs winning teams. No playoff wins. Consistently has one of the most talented teams in the NFL. Consistently gets the least out of the most. I've seen enough. Please let this be his last year. Thank you.

Paul Guenther is asleep at the wheel this year, too. That defense is way too talented to be this inconsistent. I think Burfict might be the best defensive player I've ever seen in a Bengals uniform.

I've said that for years. He makes me want to punch my TV. I am to the point that I can't stand to hear him talk.

Where did they find this Paul guy? Went to Ursinus college. Sounds fake. I figured he was from OH, but it's PA.

Defense is way too talented to suck like they do. Lewis is an awful game coach or motivator. Zampese is in his first year and hopefully his last. Get rid of the whole staff and start over.

So every black coach is the same to the OP, got it.
Nice Snowflake, go back to your safe space and leave football talk to people that actually watch football. I don't care if he's green, purple, or orange-silk... I want to win. All these mediocre just doing enough to keep your job crap is Tubby Smith made over.

Lewis took over a team that hadn't had a winning record in decades. He turned them into a perennial playoff team. I don't see any similarity to Tubby's situation at all.

He can't win a playoff game and this year, the wheels are falling off. Time to reboot with an entire new staff.

The Bengals have had a great influx of talent since Marvin took over. I'm not sure who gets the credit for that.

He had first round pick after first round pick. He didn't turn them into anything. If anything, he made a lot of the bengals really good teams into underachievers.

It's hard to believe that people think so very little of a UK coach that won a title here that they compare him to Marvin Lewis.

Every team gets a first round pick unless they trade it. Whether he took the correct first rounder's is questionable although at the start of the season, they had the 3rd best record in the AFC over the past 5 years. But in a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately league, they are 7-10-1 in their past 18 games.

It's time for Marvin to go. No question. I would've made the switch after last year's playoff debacle.

But to act like the team hasn't improved by leaps and bounds since he has been the head coach is stupid. Do you guys even remember 1990-2002?

Lewis has had 3 losing seasons in 14 years after the Bengals had suffered through 13 straight seasons without a winning record. 0-7 in the playoffs, but they actually made the playoffs 7 times. Including the last 5 in a row.

All with Mike Brown trying to touch things up the entire time.

Yep. If the Bengals organization were smart, which we all know they arent, they wouldve moved Marvin up to the front office as GM and promoted Zimmer to head coach. Marvin sucks as a coach and Im completely done with the Bengals until he is removed, but its hard to deny his success at drafting and developing players. That list is very, very long and consists of many pro-bowlers and great football players. Unfortunately, he is a pathetic joke on the sidelines, but Ill always give him credit for what hes done in the draft.

No ****. That one championship equals that of Hall, Pitino and Cal.
Completely agree. Yes, Tubby got lazy and recruiting went downhill but if we are using Championships as the barameter to compare KY coaches you could make an argument that Cal has underperformed based on the vastly greater amount of talent he has had than Tubby. Pitino left possibly 2 more titles off the table (93 and 97). Cal should have at least 2 more titles. That said, I would not trade the Pitino or Cal era for anything.

As for Lewis, he resurrected a franchise that was dead and buried. He has had some bad luck with QB injuries going into or in the Playoffs, but overall he has been a complete failure in then Playoffs and it appears the franchise is falling behind again. It's time for a change but don't think the next guy will be the one who takes Cincinnati to the Super Bowl.

Lewis didn't resurrect anything. When a team loses that much over the years you get a **** ton of high 1st round picks with talent. All he did was tune in to Mel Kiper and Todd McShay.

They lost 13 years in a row, when were those high 1st rd picks going to start working wonders?

It's really the players that he drafted after they starting winning that turned the ship around. Their middle round picks have been good, too.

My biggest complaint about his coaching is that he is the single worst coach in the world at clock management. He makes Stoops look like Vince Lombardi.

I was at the MNF game in NY last week. The Bengals were down one and had just used their last time out. There was under 2:00 left. The Giants ran for a first down and then some. Instead of letting the Giants RB go ahead and score (he had no intentions of going down), the idiots tackled him.

Instead of getting the ball back down 8 with over 1:30 left, the Giants just went in to victory formation and ran out the clock.

Or maybe WonderBrow is right and David Klingler, Dan Wilkinson, Ki-Jana Carter, Reinard Wilson, Brian Simmons, Akili Smith, Peter Warrick, Chris Perry and David Pollack are the reasons why the Bengals went from the worst franchise in the league to a winning one.

Does Marvin understand how timeouts work in end-of-game situations? He seems baffled by the entire concept. Like he's watching popcorn in his microwave oven.

Lewis is not a championship caliber coach. He is a good talent evaluator. Like someone said, he should be the GM, not the coach. Zimmer should be their coach. That ship sailed.
Lewis has completely wasted an extremely talented roster that possibly has a couple of HOF's on it in Green and Atkins. Instead they have nothing to show for it and now it's crumbling.
Hire the right coach and he could salvage the talent on this roster.
This current staff needs to be unemployed now if it were me. Why wait. This season looks lost. Bring in a new coach and let him get used to these guys in live fire. Build for next year.
Won't happen though. Brown will do none of this. Just set in his suite and ignore it all.
