Mascot?

I always thought Maryland was the wierdest school in America, since they don't seem to have a clue what their school colors are. But Stanford may have overtaken them, with whatever the hell that thing is that they call a mascot. Yeah, I know it's supposed to be a tree.

From what I know it’s specifically the bands mascot and not the official mascot of the university.

Well the only mascot they could really use is the Cardinal bird because their
