I didn't question that radical Islamic fueled terrorism wasn't on the rise in Europe. There's no doubt about that. I was interested in the data for public/mass shootings.
In the end, it's semantics, a murder is a murder, but my original response was directed towards the graphic portraying mass shootings.
The media is already speculating that this is probably the handiwork of Neo-Nazis, and undoubtedly that's the hope of the media. It's certainly possible that the shooters are Nazis, but it makes no sense for Nazis to commit this particular type of terrorist act. It's not as if they're above doing it, but this particular makes no sense for them to commit. They would more likely attack a refugee center or some political target as opposed to a shopping mall full of random civilians. My guess is that the culprits will be exactly who everyone expects them to be. Occam's Razor.

There are some thoughts that it could be extreme right wingers mocking the Muslims in this act. Nobody knows for sure yet, but I have seen reports from German police that claim they are jihadists. It would be nice if they would capture these bastards or kill them. Still at large.
That's what I was thinking. Why wouldn't they attack immigrants? Why attack German children. Could be nazis but doesn't make sense.
But I guess if you're crazy enough to do this, making sense doesn't come into the equation.
Maybe they were trying to do it and have it blamed on Muslims but that plan only works if they completely avoid getting caught, which is highly unlikely, and they would be delusional to have any expectation of not getting caught.
You may be correct but there is no way, from the pictures I've seen, that you can tell that he is white or just a light skinned person.

I have to wonder what (when) the tipping point in Europe will be, to either surrender to Islam or expulsion of Muslims. It is hard to imagine that any society can maintain the status quo in the face of ever increasing terror.
