Most of the Bracket Matrix people had us on the 10 line with some having us as low as an 11 seed.
This was a BIG Quad 1 road win vs a top 25, certain tournament team.
We're still early enough in the season--a big win can move you up seed line(s). A bad loss can move you down seed line(s).

6's: Arkansas (lost), Villanova (underdog), Louisville, UT (lost)

7's: Utah State (lost), SMU (lost), St. John's, Central Florida (lost)

8's: St. Mary's (underdog), Seton Hall (lost), Miam (lost)i, Georgia

9's: St. Louis, USC (underdog), Iowa, Wisconsin

10's: Auburn, NC State (lost), Kentucky, Texas A&M (underdog vs Texas).

11's: Indiana (lost), Missouri (lost), New Mexico (underdog), Baylor(lost last night), Ohio State, Miami Ohio

We gained space on most of the 11 seeds, which keeps us out of the playin games.
We should move up to the 8/9 instead of worrying about the 10/11.
St. Mary's, Seton Hall, Miami all losing may pave the way for us to be an 8 seed.

Utah State, Central Florida, and SMU all losing helps open the door to the 7 line. St. John's plays Villanova. So we could see all four 7 seeds lose.

Arkansas and UT both lost on the 6 line. Villanova could lose on the 6 line.

Getting back to the 6 line over the next week or 2 suddenly looks VERY reasonable. Gotta protect Rupp Arena these next 2 games.

Need IU to not collapse; same with STJ's. They're still two of our best wins along with LSU and UT today.

UofL losing again? LOL. Wonder who wants a coaching change first? UK or UofL. They def. aren't happy with Kelsey atm.

Know what I've learned over the last 1.5 seasons? The Pope teams are way too unpredictable.

I can talk myself into them being great and I can talk myself into them being terrible.

Great work @Cats192. I noticed that last year on this date we were ranked 2nd in offensive efficiency and 76th in defensive efficiency. That wasn't just good enough for the Sweet Sixteen finish we had: multiple national commentators were saying it was dark horse FF good (before injuries change that).

Our current breakdown of 31/32 is a much different look, obviously. But how terrible can it be that that actually ranks our net efficiency somewhat higher with everything averaged out? We certainly have a lot of room to grow too. Here's hoping we can capitalize on it!

A lot of games remaining but those two home losses (UNC and Missouri) loom large. Hopefully not for entrance into the tournament but for seeding. Seeding matters.

At worst, they're a competitive team now. At best, they're climbing into the territory of winning the SEC and getting a good seed.

Louisville caught Kentucky at a good time for them and nearly pissed that lead completely away. Their other best win is one Kentucky has too, Indiana. Beat the hell out of some ****** teams.
