NU will likely need 9 more regular season wins to make the dance. Looking at the schedule, NU's road to get there is not easy. They get Purdue, Illinois, and MSU twice, only get a slumping Michigan once, and face a surging Minnesota and Nebraska twice. The home games against OSU and Iowa are going to be massive.

Our schedule is crazy frontloaded this year. Per Torvik, 8 of our first 10 games in conference are against tourney-level competition, but only 1 of the last 10 are (@MSU). If we can go 3-3 in the next 6 before going on a run in February, we'll be in good shape.
