Damn - the US love's & seems to endlessly produce WW2 movies -

Personally I would love to see a realistic movie about the Korean War --- which could include the Air Force fiercely engaging (and soundly winning) NK & Soviet MIG pilots -

Very dramatic and fiercely fought first half of the war - then WW1 kike stalemate for the second

Seems too important to forget without trying to memorialize and teach

I hope they don't go all Disney/George Lucas/Red Tails with this.

Until the late Spring 1944 one of the most helpless places you could be is in an Allied 4-engine bomber...even up to September 1944 the Luftwaffe was capable of putting together defensive sorties that destroyed 65 or more Allied heavy bombers on a single mission (Black Thursday/Schweinfurt/Regensurg).

What those guys went through, along with the RAF night raids was pretty horrific.

Could be worse: 75% of the Germans that served in a U Boat died at sea... not that I'm complaining.
