I would think if he is traveling it with an intent above cheerleaders.
The thing i like about my opinions is rarely am I disciplined when wrong. Exception is when I am stupid enough to express a differing domestic opinion.
Cael has often taken guys on road trips to get them re-acclimated to the routine (including making weight on the road) without competing.

So we'll see. Hope we see Barr go, not quite convinced yet. If he's not quite fully recovered yet, the additional 3-week break before Rutger will do him wonders.

I have expected both, Barr and Nagao back for Rutgers. However, if he is taking Josh my instincts tell me he is wrestling. The older I get the more comfortable I am with embracing my "wrongness", so I am just making a guess.

Well, PJ should get tested enough that @MSU158 can sign off on him being ranked inside the top 10.
I read that rankings thread over on HR. I was aware of MSU158's reputation for, shall we say, "extended discussion", but in that thread alone he replied sixteen times to responses to his original post : )

Edit: Up to 22 replies now : )

Could have sworn I saw Barr at Wyoming. I think we see him get a match this weekend as well.

Absolutely. There may be a necessity then to enter one of the smaller tournaments to get the right number of matches to meet the requirements though? I don't know, can't remember how many they need

- 8 matches before B10s for the conference to receive an allocation for nationals
- 8 matches for a Coaches' Ranking -- at any time, but really only care after B10s
- 15 matches for an RPI -- timing same, really only care after B10s

All of those are vs D1 non-teammates.

Including this weekend, 11 duals remain. A B10 finalist gets 3 matches if a top 2 seed, 4 matches otherwise.

Barr and Davis cannot get to 15 matches unless they go to a tourney, lose at B10s, or lose at least one dual and get seeded 3rd or lower at B10s (Nagao already has 5 matches so far this year.)

Cael might choose to not bother getting them to 15. Brooks did not have 15 matches before NCAAs in 2023. It probably wouldn't matter much for Barr -- if he were the undefeated B10 champ, he'd be no worse than the 3 seed and likely opposite Elam. More important for Nagao or Davis.

Are you asking about tuition? It is just below $40K. It is an amazing high school facility. Better than a lot of colleges.
yes my friend from Nashville who I am meeting to watch the matches asked her high school aged daughter about it and she mentioned the tuition and said it is an amazing place!

Also, keep in mind Mirosola was banged up at the end of his last match.
I was surprised that there has been little to no speculation regarding his injury. Members of this board really don't like to speculate on such things.:ROFLMAO:

It makes me crazy(er) that the match notes do not give Messenbrink credit for his winning percentage in the records section.

You're certainly no stranger to those feelings. Jk

I remember it took PSU Athletics about three or four years of Media Guides to update Jan Jagla’s career stats.

I was thinking of going but the lack of non-PSU activity on Saturday made it kind of a waste. Plenty of college football to watch
