Yeah I think today. The promo I attached is pretty cool tho...I clicked one pill then went back and did the other. Lol
I enjoyed them all but the second one was somewhat annoying. If they would just have eliminated the whole scene with the Architect and Neo it would have raised my enjoyment level quite a bit. The whole trying to sound intellectually superior to where the average person might struggle to follow along sucked. The scene with the Merovingian in the restaurant wasn't much better.
When Neo caused an EMP in the real world to stop the hunters I was convinced the real world was another layer to the matrix as a catch all for those who rejected the inner matrix and Neo being the one made hom the first to realize this. Sadly I was wrong.
They should have stuck with just one but Hollywood got to get that money. I’ll watch number four but am pretty damn skeptical they can recapture the magic of the first one.

Looks impressive visually and also like the same damn story for the fourth time. Skeptical but still compelled to watch. Damn it.
I think 20 year later visual effects is what's drawing me in.

Meh.. The Wachowski sisters/brothers have missed on more than they've landed. Skeptical of the trailer. I'll go see it for sure (or, steal it, who am I kidding)... But this seems like it will be closer to parts 2/3 than the original.
And yeah, I figured we'd get a teaser for Morpheus. But nothing. I really hope they signed him up and are keeping him shrouded.. but it seems he's not in this, and if he is, it won't be a lot of screen time.

Oh no doubt. It looks like screen caps of what Christopher Nolan’s dreams probably looked like after the first time he saw the Matrix.

they left things after the last 2 on kind of a sour note to a lot of fans. this may or may not make it right? who knows. this could be kind of cool. enough time has passed to give it a shot.
Keanu Reeves is a bad dude. Will watch just for that honestly.
To me it doesn't even feel like a Matrix movie. It's like they just threw some random Matrix references into a totally different movie. If you take Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss out of it would you know it's a Matrix sequel? Besides the red/blue pill reference of course.
It's resurrection. Young reborn morpheus. Other characters too I think.

This one looks promising. Doubt it will come close to the 1st or even the 2nd, but still has potential especially considering the caliber of movies released the last several months
They are good at cool concepts and great visual spectacles. That along will make it worth a watch.
Agreed. Second one has flaws but is a really good action movie. Third one is garbage.
Uninformed prediction:
Plot will center around Neo having been “the one” for many years, and ultimately getting exhausted and asking “what’s the point” since most people in the real world would prefer to actually be plugged into the matrix. Ultimately he gave up and decided to go back to the plugged-in life himself. (They’ll make it some kind of commentary on modern society and how people are addicted to their phones and computers while they ignore the real world around them).
The first hour of the movie will be watching his daily life while they smack us across the face with callbacks, which they’ll make seem overly dramatic and and insufferable. Finally there will be some Neo revelation, where we get a 2-3 minute fast-paced cutscene that nerds will break down frame by frame on YouTube and call the wachowskis geniuses for having compiled, pointing out all the crap the casual fan missed (bc we don’t care). At that point it’ll be everyone in the movie saying “oh Neo we promised to respect your wishes to stay in the matrix but we need you now more than ever.” Reboot complete except we wasted a lot of time to get there. It’ll be a rushed action movie after that point. Probably visually appealing but lacking new substance (aside from ongoing commentary on our addiction to technology). Ultimately they’ll win a small battle but leave another bigger conflict looming so they can make a 5th movie… or not… based on the success (or lack thereof) of this movie.
