Is this an indication that Frank Jackson is looking really good and expected to leave or the staff is not feeling good about Quade?

I think we just need guards. We might have just Luke for our upperclassman guards heading into Fall 2017. I think bringing in 2 ball handlers and a scoring guard would be just fine.

Loved colemans game since the 8th grade or so. Unfortunately Shaka has been on him for a very, very long time. Pretty strong Texas lean, hopefully K can get him to change directions thou. Love the offer!!

Hoping that it is more of wanting 2 ball handlers, ala Quinn and Tyus. If that is the case, why the late offer?

Matt Coleman could be what we thought Sean Dockery was going to be. Or they could end up with the same career arc. But as of right now, their skill sets are very close.

DJ I hope you are right. Frank Jackson playing well enough this year to be a one and done really cements this team as a monster (unless really bad things happen elsewhere). And, if Duke brings in two really quality points like Quade and Coleman, that goes a long way towards making up for losing Frank. Kennard, Trent Jr., Quade and Coleman would be a young, but very tough backcourt. I could definitely live with that.

Quade might be a tough pull. Methinks there's a lot of pressure to stay home and attend Syracuse. It wouldn't be a bad choice for him. Besides, I don't see a scenario where we land both Green and Coleman.

As for Tre Jones....we're in very good shape right now.

Green- Syracuse is going to be a major player here. Not just the home town area but it's the ACC, a chance to run the show right away and he has developed a solid relationship with the staff. As much as I liked the Duke offer and the thought about Green to Duke, there still a lot of work to do. Not impossible just needs time.

Coleman- Texas is in good shape. The Duke offer makes things interesting and does give Coleman something to think about. The question is how much thinking will he put into it. Again not impossible to make up ground but getting him on a visit is essential.

Coleman & Green on the same college team highly unlikely.

Thanks for updates on Quade! I noticed Syracuse had the upper hand in the latest crystal ball projections.
