Maybe but I hate hearing that about us. We are a crazy fanbase and we care about our teams more than anyone in the country. We are more misunderstood than gullible and we have a lot of pride when it comes to the state. It’s disappointing to hear people talk about us the way they do especially someone like clay who is just looking to say the most ridiculous things about anyone else’s fan base outside of Tennessee.
Who cares about that.
Clay is fighting for college football in 2020, while Coronabros like yourself are trying to rid America of college football for this year and next as well, all over politics. Disgusting.

Don't back off. I actually liked that notion. Wouldn't surprise me at all. Like I've said if you ever talk to him when there isn't a microphone and notes in front of him, he really doesn't recall much history of the program. Now I'm not talking about someone who has seen games and followed since the 60's but the average fan of his age
So many people have said this. The thing is, he was given information that UK - mainly Calipari - needed to be in the wind but couldn't put out there himself.
People I know have said Matt is so well connected and gets insider info. Bull Feces. He stole information from others for years, he was given info that helped when he leaked it, and lastly he has never been given information that was sensitive or needed to be kept quiet. Because he doesn't know how to be quiet. His ego needs to be stroked so any "news" he hears he will repeat it.
Can't remember exactly what the info was without trying to look it up, but a premium subscriber posted a bogus piece of info on a recruit and with in a couple minutes Matt "broke" the news only to find out he was set up to bust him for stealing premium content and sharing it.

They are basically two sides of the same coin.
There are a couple ways to generate listeners to a talk radio sports show. One is to suck up to a big fan base and be "one of them". This is Matt Jones. He also has a fan base that he constantly talks bad about that listen to his show, the Cards. He talks about hating them and makes fun of them (see below)
The other way is to bash a huge fan base and irritate them so they call and tell you how stupid you are. This was Clay Travis when on 104.5 Nashville. Nashville has a huge fan base of Kentucky basketball fans as well as Alabama football fans. Hence why he always was making fun of those fan bases.
The difference in MJ and CT then was Nashville's home town team, Vanderbilt, doesn't have enough fans to have a home advantage in their own venues so he didn't have the luxury Matt did, although he tried to talk good about the UT Vols but most of them listen to their own show.
I doubt whether either of them are actually big fans of anything other than themselves. And money. Matt now is not as big as Clay because of his Outkick the Coverage and probably a bit salty towards him.

I'll start by saying no matter how hard I try I just can't get worked up about this either way.
That said, one thing that adds fuel to the fire is the history of police harassing the black community in some cities.
Even upstanding, successful, blacks for no apparent reason.
This, added to the small number of unarmed blacks being killed by police regardless of all facts, is pushing this thing forward.

How in the hell is wanting to reduce the total murder rate racist? I want criminals off the street so that innocent people of all colors aren't killed. How many 3 year old kids have to be killed in gang violence before people quit making this out to racial?
I don’t get it either. When I saw Travis responding to Jones, I glanced at the responses to Jones and the majority were a bunch of blue tints that blindly follow Jones. I couldn’t believe it. If they were true sports fans, they’d want teams out there playing.

My main point is I believe some of this is being fueled by the police harassing blacks over the years.
I'm not aware of any data on that in particular and I don't really have any feelings about it.
I base it on stories I've heard from people I know personally, television interviews, etc.

this is my third prez election in a row supporting libertarian party. We will get the numbers this year to be on the stage for the next one.
And for what it is worth Caucasians have been in the minority in California for several years now. Pretty soon you will have to speak at least one foreign language to be elected, but the state is spending a fortune to teach them English.
